Photoshop Tutorial: Sunblind's Custom Style #8 - EyeHeartGold
This style actually started off as "Bluminum," or in normal people terms, blue aluminum. I was messing around with some variations and found one that resembled some kind of cartoonish gold, so I gave it a name and saved it. Enjoy! This tutorial will show you how to make the style I created for the header of my website, DM.Net (DreamMare) Since there is a limit on the number of images I can post, I have only included images of the style's settings. For pictures of how the applied settings should look on your text, click on the settings image. Photoshop Tutorial: Sunblind's Custom Style #4 - The Bi-Polar Attraction Set
Another one of my text styles, "Bi-Polar Attraction" (I suck at naming things :/) Actually, I will be showing you 3 variants on the style: Dark, Light, and Electric. All 3 variants are included in the style download at the bottom of the tutorial. I think the effect really looks better with a larger size font, but that's for you to decide. Here is an example of the 3 style variants on both black and white backgrounds: Since ther

Photoshop Tutorial: Sunblind's Custom Style #7 - Rubber
I made this style a long, long time ago for my old hosting site, XS-Host.net and I totally forgot about it until the other day. I always thought it looked pretty cool, so I decided to share it with you It kinda looks like something you'd find in the tread of a sneaker, or in a car's floormat, doesn't it? Anywhos, In the style's file download at the bottom of this post you'll also find 2 other color variations (red and dark blue) as well as another version of this style in wh

You can probably do this in Fireworks, Paint Shop Pro or PhotoImpact as well, but I don't own those programs (ok I do have Fireworks) so I can't be sure. Also note that the graphics used are scaled, sometimes I used lower settings to keep the file size down. [*]Make a new Document, of your desired size. Bear in mind when choosing the size that you will be putting a slogan, logo or whatever in

Photoshop Tutorial: Sunblind's Custom Style #6 - Satin Pillow
I was messing around with my styles the other day and came up with this. I think it kinda has the same look as those stupid little pillows you see at Wal-Mart with "Princess" or "Cute" written on them. But since "Stupid Little 'Princess' Pillow" is too long of a title for a Photoshop style, I call it Satin Pillow. It kinda looks more like silk, but it's my style and I'll call it what I want. Photoshop Tutorial: Create Better Black And White Images
Hey again everyone, So you have decided that, rather than making color photographs you are going to try and market yourself to the large color blind audence by making only black and white images. Photoshop Tutorial: Removing Red Eye
Red-eye reduction can be very tricky. If not done right it can make eyes look very unnatural, which could get quite distracting. Heres a great method to remove red eye from images. It may sound a bit complex for a beginner, but the results make it worth it. Ok here we go. 1.Open the image in photoshop 2At the bottom of the Layer window, click on the circular icon that stands for'Create new fill or adjustment layer' and select the channel mixer option there. 3.In the channel mixer wind
